Welcome to the Snail Trails, GEO-ART in the area of Sabile and Abava valley! Why snail? Because Sabile has vineyard that is full of winesnails, also known as escargots. On top of that, winesnail is depicted in the coat of arms of Abava parish. And snail just looks good on the map! 🐌
Take your time, no rush, and enjoy geocaching!
It has always been a debate for geocachers if caches inside bars or libraries is a good idea. Available only for certain hours or limited time of year - it takes some extra effort and patience, indeed. But it may pay off with some exciting, quality and dry find!
This challenge cache is NOT at the posted coordinates, but at the published final waypoint. And also this cache is NOT available in winter, but you are more than welcome at nights :)
To log the find you need to meet the patience challenge – you must have found caches with following attributes:
|
NOT available in winter – at least 150, |
|
NOT available 24/7 – at least 50, |
|
NOT take <1h – at least 25. |
P.S. You will find bonus numbers on a few logbooks on the Snail trails - save them for bonus caches!
