Geocache Description:

Do you remember your first one?

England's First geocache in the UK was by an American cacher, 'Steve', who planted a geocache at Berrylands, Surbiton, Surrey and called it, appropriately, England’s First! (GC4E). Unfortunately, the geocache is no longer there, but a tribute plaque commemorating it was placed at the original site by local geocachers under the guidance of Thames Water Community & Recreation Services and Royal Kingston Council on its 10th anniversary.

Most people probably remember their first one, you are invited to share your first experience with the GC number in your log. However, to claim this cache you need to visit the location, take a picture of the plaque and include something to identify your caching name, alternatively, you may take a selfie with the plaque (although your face need not be in the picture).

Good luck and happy geocaching.
