Geocache Description:

The first post office in Goulburn was opened on 1 January 1832, just three years after the town was founded.  Goulburn became the home of a full-time official Post Office on 1 September 1862.

In 1875, the post office was operating out of a rented premise in Market Street, but as the postal business increased, calls for a new official post office building began to grow.

The Colonial Architect, James Barnet, began planning the new office at Goulburn in 1875. Built by local builder F. Horn, the current post office building was officially opened in 1881.

1. When standing on the footpath, how many Aust Post signs can you see?

2. What are the numbers for the Private Boxes to the right of the main front doors?

3. A quick google search will reveal the date that the Post Office Building was heritage listed.  What is that date?

4. Include a photo of you/your cache name/GPSr with Queen Victoria.
