Le Landskron est un impressionnant château en ruine perché sur une colline au-dessus du Leimental. De là, vous avez une vue fantastique sur le triangle frontalier. Au nord-ouest, vous pouvez voir les Vosges, au nord Bâle et la vallée du Rhin et au nord-est la Forêt Noire. A l'est on aperçoit le Jura.
Die Landskron ist eine beeindruckende Burgruine die auf einem Hügel über dem Leimental tront. Von hier hat man einen fantastischen Blick ins Dreiländereck. Im Norden-Westen sieht man die Vogesen, im Norden Basel und das Rheintal und im Nord-Osten in den Schwarzwald. Im Osten blickt man auf den Jura.
The Landskron is an impressive ruined castle perched on a hill above the Leimental. From here you have a fantastic view of the border triangle. 1297 Le Landskron a déclenché une querelle dès sa construction. Un document de 1297 annonce en effet que les frères Viztum, chevaliers de Bâle, ont remis le Landskronberg avec le "Bu der nu daruff ist" au comte de Pfirt et qu'ils en ont été à nouveau inféodés.
1356 Nous n'avons pas d'informations sur les dommages causés par le tremblement de terre de 1356.
1461 Après l'extinction des Münch, le fief passe en 1461 aux Reich von Reichenstein.
1504 Les margraves de Baden héritent de la seigneurie.
1515 Avec son soutien, les Reich von Reichenstein font réaménager le château médiéval entre 1515 et 1518.
1541 Le junker Thüring Reich von Reichenstein survit à une chute par-dessus les rochers de Mariastein.
1637 Le 25 juin 1637 - pendant la guerre de Trente Ans, les troupes suédoises commandées par le major Bernhard Schaffalitzky von Muckadell occupent Rodersdorf et exigent en vain la remise du Landskron.
1639 Pendant la guerre de Trente Ans, Landskron passe sans combat aux mains des Suédois, qui sont immédiatement suivis par les Français.
1648 Lors du traité de Westphalie, la forteresse est attribuée au margrave.
1665 Le royaume n'est racheté qu'en 1665. Une fois de plus, Landskron subit une transformation fondamentale : il devient une garnison. Vauban est chargé de l'adapter aux nouvelles exigences.
1690 A partir de 1690, Landskron est transformé en forteresse frontalière et en prison d'Etat selon les plans de Sébastien Le Prestre de Vauban.
1813 En décembre 1813, les Bavarois et les Autrichiens opposés à Napoléon se rendent devant Landskron et s'emparent de la forteresse faiblement défendue à Noël après trois jours de bombardement. Deux morts et quelques blessés sont à déplorer.
1980 Lorsque la fière ruine fut mise en vente vers 1980, des efforts furent entrepris en divers endroits pour la conserver au public. Ils ont abouti en 1983 à la création de l'association binationale Pro Landskron, qui a pu acquérir les ruines en 1984 et compte aujourd'hui près de mille membres. Nos objectifs : préserver les ruines pour la postérité et les utiliser comme point d'ancrage d'activités transfrontalières.
1988 En deux étapes de rénovation d'un coût total d'environ 1,2 million d'euros (1,8 million de francs suisses), la tour et le vieux palais ont été consolidés en 1988-89 et 1998-99 sous la direction du service des monuments historiques.
Avril 2020 Après une lutte de pouvoir ubuesque, la rénovation de la poudrière du château de Landskron aurait pu commencer. Mais le coronavirus est arrivé.

1461 Nach dem Aussterben der Münch geht das Lehen 1461 an die Reich von Reichenstein über.
1504 Erben die Markgrafen von Baden die Lehensherrschaft.
1515 Mit seiner Unterstützung lassen die Reich von Reichenstein zwischen 1515 und 1518 die mittelalterliche Burg umgestalten
1541 Überlebt Junker Thüring Reich von Reichenstein einen Sturz über die Felsen von Mariastein.
1637 Am 25. Juni 1637 – im Dreißigjährigen Krieg besetzten schwedische Truppen unter Major Bernhard Schaffalitzky von Muckadell Rodersdorf und verlangten vergeblich die Übergabe der Landskron
1639 Im Dreissigjährigen Krieg, geht die Landskron kampflos an die Schweden über, in deren Fussstapfen unmittelbar die Franzosen treten.
1648 Im Westfälischen Frieden wird die Festung dem Markgrafen zugesprochen
1665 Die Reich werden erst 1665 ausgekauft. Erneut erfährt die Landskron eine grundlegende Umwandlung: sie wird Garnison. Vauban erhält den Auftrag, sie den neuen Anforderungen anzupassen.
1690 Ab 1690 wurde die Landskron nach Plänen von Sébastien Le Prestre de Vauban zu einer Grenzfestung und zum Staatsgefängnis ausgebaut
1813 Im Dezember 1813 ziehen die gegen Napoleon ver-einten Bayern und Österreicher vor die Landskron und erobern die schwach verteidigte Festung an Weihnachten nach dreitägigem Beschuss. Zwei Tote und einige Verletzte sind zu beklagen.
1980 Als die stolze Ruine um 1980 zum Verkaufe stand, regten sich verschiedenen Ortes Bestrebungen, sie der Öffentlichkeit zu erhalten. Sie führten 1983 zur Gründung des binationalen Vereins Pro Landskron, welcher die Ruine 1984 erwerben konnte und mittlerweile gegen Tausend Mitglieder zählt. Unsere Ziele: die Ruine der Nachwelt erhalten und sie als Angelpunkt grenzüberschreitender Aktivitäten nützen.
1988 In zwei Renovationsetappen mit Kosten von zusammen ca. 1,2 Mio. € (1,8 Mio. CHF) wurden 1988-89 und 1998-99 der Turm sowie der alte Palas unter der Leitung der Denkmalpflege konsolidiert.
April 2020 Nach einem skurrilen Machtkampf hätte die Sanierung des Pulverturms der Burg Landskron losgehen können. Doch dann kam das Coronavirus.

Optional: Es würde mich besonders freuen, wenn du beim Erstellen des Logbildes deiner Kreativität freien Lauf lässt, indem du fürs Logfoto auf einem Zettel, Scherenschnitt oder Ähnlichem, deinen Cachernamen und Geischtli 👻, mit der Ruine vielleicht auch der Aussicht im Hintergrund fotografierst.
