Geocache Description:

On the Kings Highway, between Bungendore and Braidwood is a famous rock.  For many years it has been used for messages - birthday greetings, marriage proposals, the occasional political message.  Anything, really.

I thought it would be a good idea to keep a record of these messages, hence this vitrual cache.

WARNING This cache is best tackled when travelling from Bungendore to Braidwood.  There is a small pull-off on the edge of the highway on this side and nowhere to park on the other side.

WHEELCHAIR ACCESS  I have made the cache T1 and have added the wheelchair attribute, but due to the proximity to the busy highway physically removing a wheelchair from the vehicle may be awkward.  The rock is within a metre of so of a parked vehicle.

To claim a find for this cache you must complete two tasks:

1.  There are two faces to the rock, one visible when travelling from Braidwood, the other visible when travelling from Bungendore.  Take a photograph of each face and include the two images in your log.

2,  A few metres to the NW (towards Bungendore) of the main rock is a cluster of smaller boulders.  Count these boulders (only the obviously visible ones) and send the answer to me, preferably by e-mail or, if you must, via the messaging system.  DO NOT include this answer in your log. Logs with the answer to the question or with a photo of the boulders will be deleted.

You may log your find immediately and I wll allow 1 week for the answers to be sent and the photos to be uploaded.

CONGRATULATIONS to DARKSIDEDAN for the FTF, just a few minutes before J+J.au
