Låtefoss is a waterfall located near Odda. The 165-metre tall waterfall is unique, and thus it is a well-known tourist attraction in the area. It is unique because it consists of two separate streams flowing down from the lake Lotevatnet, and as they fall, they join in the middle of the waterfall, just before going under the road bridge, making for a spectacular (and wet) view as one drives over the old, stone, six-arched bridge.
Most people visiting the Låtefoss waterfall stay at the road and do not notice a well maintained path leading to a viewpoint where you even get a greater view of the falls. This cache leads you even higher to a point, where you have a great view of the upper part of the right waterfall.
TASK TO LOG THIS VIRTUAL CACHE
Go to the coordinates of this cache, and take a photo of the upper right water fall. On the photo, to be uploaded with your log, you have to show your NICKNAME and the DATE of the shot. It is not mandatory to see you or your face, the choice is yours.
Your nickname and the date can be written ONLY on:
- a sheet of paper, a ticket, a map, a newspaper, a napkin but NOT on the logbook of another cache
- a smartphone screen (Not a screenshot, but an actual photo of the screen!)
- on your body: hand, finger, neck, foot, leg...
Any other way will not be accepted, especially writing on the photo by editing it.
Logs with photos that do not fulfill these requirements will be deleted WITHOUT ANY WARNING!
