West Midlands 2022
What a Feller!
When: Sunday 26th June, 13:00
Where: Slade Farm, Marchington, ST14 8LB
A CITO with a difference! We're meeting at Slade Farm car park at 1pm and will spread out across the area to help cut back weeds and make footpaths a bit less nettley, AND chop up a fallen tree! There will be new geocaches in the village released and we will place a few more during the event.
Easy option: Litter Picking. Wander around the village, bag a few geocaches, and bag a bit of litter too! Head down all the footpaths and alleys.
Waypoint 1: Fallen Tree: N52° 52.812 W001° 48.774
The tree felling is happening at here. Meet at Slade Farm and a group can walk down from there.
Waypoint 2: Nettles and Brambles: N52° 52.523 W001° 48.430
Along this footpath we're just making sure the stiles are clear and in good condition. Once this area is good you can walk on along the footpath and improve more until you meet the people coming from Waypoint 3.
Waypoint 3: Nettles and Brambles: N52° 52.676 W001° 49.235
The far end of the footpath. We're just making sure the stiles are clear and in good condition. Once this area is good you can walk on along the footpath and improve more until you meet the people coming from Waypoint 2.
