The Geocachers of Long Island Take Manhattan!
Well, not the whole city, just Central Park! We've escaped Long Island and we're looking for adventure! After a busy Friday & Saturday, we're meeting up at the Mountcliff Arch at the Northwest Corner of Central Park to meet & greet with fellow geocachers, whether local or visiting from out of town. Exchange some TB's too.
Mountcliff Arch
Then for anyone who's interested, we'll go off to find the Bridges & Arches of Central Park! Join us on this epic journey which is the cherry on the sundae of GoLI events this weekend!
We'll begin our trek from here, heading south and around the park to visit the many Bridges & Arches.
This will be a short event, but the trek could take up to 8 hours depending on our pace and distractions! (Last year took just over 6 hours) Bring water, sunscreen, and comfortable shoes.
You can get here by B & C subway to the 110 St-Cathedral Pkwy Station
or the 2 & 3 subway to Central Park North
If you're driving, the final location of the day is just a short subway ride back to the start. And there are several parking lots/garages within a few blocks of this event.
Come meet fellow geocachers at the morning event, then find some caches!
