Good morning! Please join this "VacaLackey" in kicking off Groundhog day 2-2-22.

What: Join me for my first ever geocaching event. We'll start our day with donuts (provided), and can enjoy walking a loop of the park at the end of the gathering. Bring trackables, bring friends.. I'm excited to meet you, my hometown cachers.  

Where: We'll meet in the SW corner of the park near the Alamo Creek Park sign.

Why: In recent years I've made it a habit to skip holiday visits home in favor of visiting my family in February - when I'm tired of the dark winter days in Seattle where I live and work at Geocaching HQ (employees are affectionately known as "lackeys"). Let's hope Punxsutawney Phil has some sunny days in store for Seattle, maybe some healthy rains for Vacaville, or whatever your weather preferences may be.
