Over the past couple of years, I've seen MANY names of cachers in the area that I've never met. This is the 2nd of a few events in the Grand Forks area designed to bring folks together. Why the title? Well - it's both National Corn Chip Day and National Puzzle Day! The goal of this event is to meet and share stories....but the morning may also involve corn chips and puzzles. Actual puzzles.....not necessarily geocaching puzzles. I'm not opposed to geocaching puzzles though, discussion geocaching puzzles is welcome - what they are, how to solve them, etc. Who knows what we'll all learn!
Because it is a convenient and relatively quiet spot, we’ll meet at a seating area in the Grand Cities Mall (NOT the Columbia Mall). The mall opens for walkers at 7:30am - you can arrive early for a bit of light exercise :).
Details:
Day: Sat, Jan 29th
Time: 10:00-11:00am
Location: Seating area at the end closest to Hope Church. (There's a small entrance right next to Hope Church - just walk straight ahead through that entrance.)
I ask that you follow posted signs regarding COVID precautions that the Grand Cities Mall has in place at the time of the event. I'm sure signs will be posted at the door, if there is anything in particular in place. Currently, most businesses in Grand Forks do not require mask wear, but some encourage it.
