As part of the french Team Champot' and for the 1st time in the USA for one week to attend the HQ 20th (+2) anniversary, I wanted to create an event so we can meet each other, share some tips & tricks and talk about Geocaching.
Since I started playing I always wanted to visit Seattle, see the HQ and log both in the extended area the last APE (Mission 9 : Tunnel of Light) and the OCB (Original Stash Tribute Plaque)... maybe some of you will be able to help me on my journey. Gas Works Park seems to me a good start to enjoy my trip and discover the beautiful view of Seattle when the lights start coming on.
So come join me and let's meet in person at the Gas Works Park from 7:00pm to 9:00pm !!!
Meeting point is located at the end of the Concrete Railroad Trestle Arches (not far from parking and restrooms areas). Hoping to arrive in advance and not get lost between Seattle and Fremont while coming from the airport ;p
I will be happy to exchange only small Travel Bugs (due to plane size restrictions unfortunately) and take them with me back to France.
A group photo will be taken at some point during the event to create a nice souvenir.
Geocachers will be able to enjoy the magnificent view of Seattle nearby Lake Union, discover the Play Barn and (if they want) climb Kite Hill.
And what about the raining situation if the weather is not with us ? Well, let's hope not :D
For some of you it will be a meet & greet, for some others it will be a farewell & see you soon ; but in both cases it will be a great time for sharing.
