The Pointe du Chapeau is a mountain peak in the French Alps east of the Col du Mont-Cenis. The summit is 3419 meters high.
This cache is part of Point de Ronce loop that will take you on a long hike along the amphitheatre of ridges on the north side of Moncenis lake. Significant hike (17 km and 2000+ m of elevation gain ) with 8 peaks at about 3500 m of altitute.
