It's National Cherry Jubilee Day! 🍒 Cherries Jubilee were originally called "jubilee cherries" when served in 1887 for Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee. They were created by Auguste Escoffier and are made with pitted dark red cherries that are sauteed with sugar and brandy (or Kirsch) and then are set aflame. How about a lunchtime break to help celebrate it with myself and Twlare? While the making of Cherry Jubilee is a tad difficult to prepare for this event,(it involves igniting brandy!🔥) I will however be bringing Cherry Chewbilee bars to share. So pack a lunch and join us for some Cherry Celebration!
