Autrefois à la place actuelle du magasin de Caestre, était érigé le château de Caestre. Il n'existe plus néanmoins on peu encore à l'heure actuelle voire l'une de ses tours (la tour Marie-Louise) sur la place du château situé près de l'abri de bus.
