Cache In Trash Out
Cache In Trash Out® (CITO) is an environmental initiative supported by the geocaching community. Since 2002, CITO has helped preserve the natural beauty of cache-friendly spaces. In that time, more than 363,000 people have volunteered at 18,000 CITO events.
Twice per year, geocachers can earn virtual souvenirs by hosting and attending events during CITO seasons. Season 2 officially kicked off on the 1st of September so I'm planning on doing a little cleanup of a bit of illegal dumping along Angus Smith Drive.
Bring gloves if you have them or a rubbish pickup tool. I will provide bags and maybe a few buckets. I'll also likely bring along a few bottles of water and an esky to keep them chilled as we toil. I'll also have the trailer to fill up.
This event will be held in line with current state covid restriction measures.
Hope to see you there. All but Emily... something about birds nests apparently.
