Well, it was 10pm on August 31st and even though I hid a container in early July, I still hadn't gotten around to creating a puzzle. I guess geocaching didn't have my undivided attention this past month. So, I opted for an easy math puzzle for September, primarily because I didn't have time to research something more involved. So, as long as you factor in that I created this in a half hour, you hopefully won't have too much trouble with the math below.

Special Notes about the 2021 Puzzle Challenge: To be considered for Fastest Solver points, you must verify your solution with Certitude. Finders will receive Top Finder points when submitting Found It logs to the cache page. All "point" scoring is arbitrary, subject to change, at the discretion of the cache owner, and probably completely meaningless (unless you just want to be announced sooner at the celebration party, if one even happens in 2022, as we didn't have one in 2020 and it looks dubious as to whether we'll have one in 2021). The real challenge is to see whether I can even figure out how to create a new puzzle each month this year! To maintain fairness, hints should not be offered by the cache owner or other solvers until the fifteenth of the month.
Special Notes about this month's puzzle: Okay, my original hide ran afoul of the proximity rule, and my misunderstanding of the message from the reviewer led to a couple of days of delay. So, I just rehid a new cache tonight (September 2nd) and reworked the math, making it perhaps even more confusing. This container does not have a pen or pencil, so bring your own!
