Descrizione: la Cime du Laro è una punta secondaria che si trova tra il Signal du Petit Mont Cenis (Punta Clairy sulle carte italiane) ed il lago del Moncenisio. É la variante alpinistica del Passo della Beccia, offre un bel panorama dal colle sul lago di Moncenisio e sulle montagne circostanti.

Il cache: si tratta di un petling nascosto tra le rocce sulla sommità principale. Attenzione: per raggiungere il cache bisognerà usare anche le mani (per un breve tratto).
Il percorso: una volta parcheggiato al WP, prendere il sentiero, ben segnalato, che sale verso il forte della Turrà. Arrivati al primo reference point, continuare in direzione del passo della Beccia. Al secondo reference point, prendere a sinistra e seguire le tracce di sentiero visibili nello sfasciume. Ogni tanto ci sono anche degli omini di pietra ad indicare il percorso. Se si osserva la mappa di Geocaching è presente anche un sentiero che corre in cresta (guardando la cima, quello a sinistra). SI sconsiglia questo percorso poichè, anche se sale in maniera più lineare, è molto esposto nell'ultima parte ed è difficilmente individuabile.
ATTENZIONE: la traccia finale passa in una forcella alla fine della quale è presente un buco di circa 1 metro - 1 metro e mezzo di diametro. Prestare la massima attenzione e aggirarlo nella maniera più sicura possibile, poichè molto profondo e terminante nel vuoto. Osservare bene la Spoiler Pic 1.

Il quando: il cache è raggiungibile solo d'estate. E anche in questo periodo, se ci sono delle sacche di neve, evitare di affrontarle, poichè potrebbero essere molto pericolose.
Description: the Cime du Laro is a secondary point located between the Signal du Petit Mont Cenis (Punta Clairy on the Italian maps) and the Mont Cenis lake. It is the mountaineering variant of the Passo della Beccia, it offers a beautiful view from the hill over the Moncenisio lake and the surrounding mountains.

The cache: it is a petling hidden among the rocks on the main summit. Warning: to reach the cache you will also need to use your hands (for a short distance).
The path: once parked at the WP, take the well-signposted path that climbs towards the fort of the Turrà. Arrived at the first reference point, continue towards the Passo della Beccia. At the second reference point, turn left and follow the traces of the path visible in the rubble. Occasionally there are also some stone men to indicate the path. If you look at the Geocaching map there is also a path that runs along the ridge (looking at the top, the one on the left). This route is not recommended because, even if it climbs in a more linear way, it is very exposed in the last part and is difficult to identify.
ATTENTION: the final track passes through a fork at the end of which there is a hole of about 1 meter - 1 meter and a half in diameter. Pay the utmost attention and go around it as safely as possible, as it is very deep and ending in a void. Take a good look at Spoiler Pic 1.

When: the cache is accessible only in summer. And even in this period, if there are pockets of snow, avoid facing them, as they could be very dangerous.
