Recently a new parking lot popped up on McCoy Rd and the Reidsville "Blueway" was born. There is a Kayak/Canoe launch (which you will need) just down the hill from the new parking lot that allows you to safely merge onto the Blueway "free of charge". There is no fishing allowed from a Kayak or a Canoe but there are no rules concerning hunting for GEOCACHES from them so a few caches have suddenly emerged around the perimeter of the Blueway. I decided to add to the growing collection of them with the placement of this cache. Note: you can also launch a regular boat from the boat launch at Lake Reidsville Recreation Park. The park also offers kayak rentals if you need one.
I decided to add to the paddle caches near the new launch site. This was a neat location that was just screaming for a new cache.
Note the terrain rating! If you attempt this location by land you may have to hug the shoreline. You should use a watercraft to get to GZ and to access the cache HOWEVER... the terrain rating might indicate that you might be able to hike to this one. The last few feet are gonna be damp though.
