It's a puzzle cache in memorial to that fabulous puzzle solver Rick Richardson, known as rickrich.
The cache is not located at the posted coordinates.
Rather, it is at N 44°ab.cde′, W 93°fg.hij′.
Let M be a significant 5-digit number in rickrich's puzzle solving career.
Then abcde = 92412 - M, and fghij = 72046 - M.
A legend among local cachers for his numerous hides and his generosity in providing very useful hardware advice and software tools. Furthermore, he was admired nationally and internationally as well for his problem solving prowess. As an example, in a nearby sample of about 100 from the tens of thousands puzzles he had solved rickrich was usually one of the first few to solve and was the very first solver (FTS) more than 30% of the time. Personally, we relied on the combination of his knowledge, accuracy, insight, cleverness, promptness, persistency and brute force to provide us an early check to many puzzle solutions. Several times he found errors in our inadequate descriptions that needed correction before the puzzle could be solved; more than once he eked out the correct solution despite the errors. Only twice did he request that that an additional hint was desired, and that these should be limited to one word which would then be shared on the puzzle page. I am especially grateful for the model that he exhibited that being T-limited can enhance participation in this wonderful world of geocaching puzzles. He will be greatly missed. He will not be forgotten.
