In Stiles Cemetary, NW of Big Lake, TX. Easy drive and short walk. There is a gate, but it is not locked. This is an active, tho old, cemetary - show respect.
Three sisters buried side-by-side. They died just 4 days apart. How tragic for their parents. What could have killed them so quickly - cholera, smallpox? The 1st to go was only 6 years old. The next was just a month short of her 1st birthday and the last - just 8 days after the first - was 3. Even tho they have been gone almost 100 years, it is still a very sad event.

A stroll through the small and well maintained cemetary will aquaint you with some of the families in the area. Also nearby is the ghost town of Stiles with its burned out courthouse and another virtual cache
