The first Church CITO was held 2019
Due to COVID no events were held in 2020
As with any church micro cache or event they will count towards your CM finds total.

The following is a list of work to be done:-
1 Remove grass that has encroached onto pathways
2 Remove molehills and fill in animal scrapes on pathways and in grass areas
3 Remove self seeded saplings
4 Remove vegetation from car park
5 General removal of weeds and Ivy growing on and around gravestones
6 Some overhanging tree branches to prune/lop

What to bring with you
(a) Gardening Gloves and Stout Footware.
(b) General gardening tools if you have them, i.e Rake, Secateurs, Branch Loppers, Hand Saw, Shears etc
(c) If you have one a petrol driven Brush Cutter or Strimmer.
(d) Scrapers to remove Ivy from Headstones. (Plastic Spatulas or similar)
If you have any spare sacks for collecting the green waste.
It would be very much appreciated if anyone is prepared to take a full sack to the tip or their home Green Waste Bin.
The work will be done in conjunction with volunteers from the Church Congregation and the Church Wardens.
Tea, Coffee and squash will be provided throughout the morning.

A little about St Peter's Church and its aims for the future.
The Church was originally build in 1256 and over the centuries has undergone many building extensions and alterations.
Recently the interior of the Church has been re-ordered, and the car park extended to allow better and more use for the local community at large.
