Created by artist, Zoran Mojsilov, the Camden Neighborhood Gateway is a community sculpture park and the largest gateway to be completed to date. The Gateway stretches north over 700 feet, all the way to the entry point of the Camden bridge into the Camden community. The Gateway consists of four major sculptures and two sculptured benches, all judiciously located within a flowing and imaginative landscaping plan of crescent mounds and variety of vegetation; trees, bushes, flowers and grasses. The project is also notable for the extensive involvement of the Camden Garden Club, in contributing and maintaining plantings that enhance the park-like quality of the gateway.
The signature sculpture resides on the largest mound on the south end of the gateway site, and is the neighborhood's gateway symbol. It represents the seven neighborhoods of the Camden community. The Camden Neighborhood Gateway was dedicated on June 8, 1996.
PLEASE NOTE THE GC.COM RULE THAT THE PHYSICAL SITE OF A VIRTUAL CACHE MUST BE VISITED IN ORDER TO LOG THE FIND. I had to delete logs from people who almost certainly did not visit the physical site. I will continue to check each log to verify that the finder appears to have visited the physical site, and if it is highly likely that you did not, your log will be deleted, even if you answer the question correctly. In order to have a fair playing field, everybody in the game needs to follow the same rules.
