This cache is at one of the many entry points to the trail system in these woods, which are known as the Boston Lot. The easiest way to reach the cache is to start from the given parking coordinates and follow the maintenance road uphill.
This is a common route for walkers, hikers and mountain bikers, but most of them don't know that along the sides of much of this road are thousands of wild strawberry plants. Just glance down along the edge of the road as you are hiking up in late June or early July and you will see lots of red. One could pick thousands of them, and if they are fully ripe, they are sweet and delicious. Stop and pick a few! If you're like me, you might get distracted by them enough that even a geocache takes lower precedence! OK not really. :)
Cache is probably accessible in winter, though it may get frozen into place or hidden if the snow is deep.
Congratulations to CaveMinion on the FTF!
