Welcome adventurer! Scattered across South Hero is a series of secret geocaches, and it’s up to YOU to find them! Each geocache is made up of a small box hidden near a particular kind of native tree.
Once you find one, you can log your find in the journal and take a free sticker!
Learn More: Visit www.shlt.org/geocache to learn fun facts about each tree.
Collect all 4 stickers and you can win a prize! Bring your stickers to the Worthen Library to claim.
Tree ID: Ash leaves and branches are arranged opposite (across from) each other on the stem, rather than alternating. Ash bark is crisscrossed in a diamond pattern.
Trees of South Hero Geocache Adventure is a joint project of South Hero Land Trust, the Worthen Library, and the South Hero Historical Society. Learn more about the project at www.shlt.org/geocache
