Saturday morning in late June. The days are getting hotter and Summer is definitely here. Sounds like an excuse to get together, break bread and spin some yarrns about caches found and trips yet to be made! Come on out to one of my favorite locations to get together and join me for a geocaching event.
Everybody has a different way of waking up in the morning. Here's a way to start out your morning, by gathering with a like minded bunch of people to swap stories about geocaching over a cup of Joe.
Who:
Why YOU, of course...whether you have one cache find or a thousand cache finds, please feel free to come join us for a small meet and greet.
When:
Saturday, June 26th, 2021
8:30 AM - 9:30 AM
Where:
Rooster Moon Coffeehouse
1551 Potomac Avenue
Hagerstown, MD 21742
(301) 790-5040
Why:
To eat delicious food, talk geocaching, and trade bugs. Those who wish to may also do some geocaching before or after the event.
Extra things to keep in mind:
- If you pick up a Travel Bug or trackable coin at one of the events, make sure you log it out so it doesn't show up in the events list. If a trackable sits as being listed in the event for a couple of months, the cache owner is the one that gets the e-mail from the TB owner(s).
- Each person attending will be responsible for any costs incurred for admission, food and drinks.
- Rooster Moon Coffeehouse accepts cash, debit or credit cards. Please plan accordingly.
- ALL current state recommendations with regards to the COVID-19 outbreak WILL be adhered to. These may include event size, social distancing, and the wearing of masks. As of right now, since Blue Moon has a covered area for seating this is an outdoor event. Please be sure to maintain social distancing, be sure to wear a mask and wash or sanitize your hands frequently. If you have any questions please DO ask and I'll do my best to answer.
FTF honors go to ??? Congratulations!!!
