Maine's best kept secret! Come by and spend a few hours or camp out Friday and Saturday nights! There are Adirondack shelters to rent if you want to spend the night. Everyone must pay the $8 day use fee. Here is the best part: There is a ferry to take you, your gear and even your bike out to the island or you can use your own kayak and still have the ferry haul your stuff for you. The ferry is no extra charge, it is included in the $8 day use fee. Ferry reservations must be made in advance. Here is the link for reservations and other Swan Island information. Please state in your will attend if you are camping or coming for the day only. There is plenty of space for social distancing and ferry operators have taken special considerations for transporting safely.
