One of the fun things about geocaching is meeting other geocachers! We like to go to events to meet with friends both old and new. It's a lot of fun when we get to meet someone from far away at an event.
It's also fun for us to attend an event away from home and meet the local cachers. One of the ways to do that is to host an event ourselves at a place away from home. This event is one of those.
This is a simple meet-and-greet at a very nice park in Beaverton MI. The park has a splash pad and playground for the micro-cachers, nearby restrooms, picnic tables, charcoal grills and a large parking lot. We'll be meeting in the parking lot, as close to the published coordinates as I can get when I arrive that afternoon.
