This grassy knoll has been used for years and years for family picnics, a place to sit and watch the sunsets, take a wade or swim in the cool waters of the Columbia River, launch a kayak or paddleboard, and just enjoy the peacefulness and serenity of the site. Bring a blanket or enjoy sitting on one of the two newly placed granite memorial benches nearby. We are a hospitable bunch in this neighborhood. Learn about the history of the area along the Sacagawea Heritage Trail as you look for interpretive displays along the way. The Trail is 23 miles of beautiful Columbia River shoreline that connects Pasco, Richland, and Kennewick over several bridges. You will not see a more beautiful Tri-City sunset than right here.
