The Aonuma in particular is a beautiful color that is hard to believe was created by nature.
The name "Goshiki-numa" comes from the fact that there are not necessarily five marshes, but rather a variety of colors that can be seen. It is said that the reason for the different colors depends on the weather, season, angle of view, and volcanic substances contained in the water. The color of the water looks slightly different depending on the season, weather, and time of day, so it is recommended to visit the area more than once.
