Commendations and Celebrations from Around the World.
During his career of less than 30 years as a researcher, Hideyo was awarded academic degrees and medals, from 15 countries, as well as the Imperial Prize of the Japan Academy, which was the highest academic honor in Japan. Even after his death, research institutes named after him can still be found throughout the world, and many biographies of him have been published to pass on his achievements to posterity.

30年に満たない研究者生活で、英世は15か国から学位や勲章などを贈られ、日本でも学界の 最高栄誉である「帝国学士院賞恩賜賞」を受賞しています。 死後も世界中に「Noguchi」の名がついた研究施設 などがあり、数多くの伝記が出版されその業績をいつまでも伝えています。
