The Big Merino is a big concrete merino ram located in Goulburn just off the Hume Highway. Nicknamed "Rambo" by locals and visitors alike, the Big Merino contains a gift shop on the ground floor and a wool display on the second floor. Visitors can climb to the top and look out through the Merino's eyes to view the local area. The eyes are usually lit up a night.
The Big Merino was originally opened at No. 98 Hume St, Goulburn, approximately 800 metres north-east of its current location.
In the early 1990s, the Hume Highway bypassed Goulburn, which resulted in a loss of many many busloads of tourists to the Big Merino complex per day. Therefore it was decided to move Rambo from it's original location to a new spot closer to the exit off the Hume Highway where several service stations and food outlets still attracted tourists off the highway.
To find this puzzle cache you need to do some research on Rambo, and calculate GZ as shown below. You do not have to enter the gift shop or Rambo to solve or find this cache.
The cache is located at S34 4A.BDD E149 4C.DEE.
Rambo was moved from it's original location to it's current location on 2A May 20E7.
At the original location, Rambo was Officially Opened on 20 September C98D.
Rambo is XY.2m in height. XY/5 = B.
GZ can be a very busy location, so stealth while searching is required.
