G4 (Gaithersburg Germantown Geocaching Gathering) - CITO (Cache In Trash Out) #11 - Rock Creek Stream Valley
This will be the 11th straight month of a G4 CITO. If you don't know what a CITO is, check out the official description.
This month we will be joining Montgomery Parks and The Rock Creek Conservancy on a mission to cleanup a section of the Rock Creek Stream Valley. This cleanup will occur mostly off trail in wooded terrain so dress accordingly. Due to certain parameters and challenges to run a succesfull cleanup, this event is only open to adults over 18 years old.
This outdoor event will comply with all county and state health mandates.
Where: Aspen Hill Local Park, 5013 Baltic Ave, Rockville, MD 20853
**We will meet at the parking lot for check in then hike to the cleanup site.
When: 08:30 - 11:00 Saturday, 12 June
What to bring: Sturdy boots, gloves, and long pants. Long shirts, hats, sunscreen, and bugspray are also suggested. Bags and trash grabbers will be provided.
