Nikšić Tourist Spots:  I have been visiting Montenegro's second city, Nikšić, since 2001. I love the city and love the people and there are some amazing spots in the city that make this an amazing location for a couple of days tourism and exploration that are well off the beaten track. This series will help you explore some of these places!

Nikšić Tourist Spots Bonus Cache  -  Lake Slano

The coast of Lake Slano is rugged and not particularly easy to access.  Nevertheless, there are some great spots around the lake even though it is not a typical tourist destination.  Along one side runs a dam with a tarmaced road running along.  The bird and wildlife is abundant and you are sure to enjoy peace and solitude in this beautiful location.

To the cache...

This cache requires a short but challenging walk.  Please beware of venomous snakes!  Make sure that the cache is returned and covered when you have finished logging.  There is space for TBs, coins and souvenirs.

To find the coordinates to this cache you need to find the following caches in the Nikšić Tourist Spots Series answering the Bonus Questions in order to solve the following puzzle:

For a few weeks each year it is possible that the beach you need to use to access the cache is flooded. In these situations you have permission to log the cache by sending me the solved coordinates and a photo of the flooded beach.

If you made it this far then you will definitetly also enjoy NTS#6 Vučje.  This cache is not part of the bonus puzzle because it is inaccessible during the winter.
