EDIT - No Internet finds allowed. I will delete your log
entry.
Many people are logging this cache without actually visiting
it. The way I implemented the certificate, made it easy to fake the
visit. If you notice all the folks from Europe and their logs, it
is impossible to visit all those caches in the US that fast. I have
removed the certificate. It's a shame I had to do this, but you are
on the honor system now. If you want to send me via e-mail Mr.
Cowan's first name or the date the house was built that's fine.
Otherwise please visit this location, speak with the owners and
find out why this museum is in existence. It is well worth the
visit.
While visiting my parents, I realized that there were no caches
within the immediate area so I decided to find a few areas in
Duplin County for cachers to visit. Growing up in this region of
North Carolina, I often thought that this was a really neat museum.
The Cowan Museum contains many historical items, some dating
back to the Revolutionary War era. Please stop in a take a look
around. When you do stop by, be sure to ask the ladies there if
they have a "knitty-knotty". This will ensure you the grand
tour.
Please take the time to visit this one. Be sure to bring your
kids, as some of the items here would be of interest to them.
