The Prescott area geocachers are going to honor 6 local cachers that have achieved finding 10,000 caches or more. That is a milestone that not everyone will reach.
Our honorees are: Azgoldseekers, Kayothree, LKLopez, Owlover, Mgps, and Stuckin4th
The event will be held on Saturday, May 8th from 9:30 - 10:30 am at Vista View Park. This park is located off Sarafina Rd (off of Smoketree in Prescott Lakes subdivision). There is limited parking in the lot, but plenty of parking on the west side of the street. There are several tables under the covered pavilion; as well as some benches throughout the park.
If you want to bring something (geocaching related) there will be a separate container for each of the 6 honorees.
There will be a log sheet that each attendee may sign with their own BYOP.
We are not out of the woods with issues related to Covid-19, so if you are not feeling well please make the responsible choice and refrain from coming. If you have concerns, practice social distancing and provide your own supplies for safety.
Come prepared to tell stories about each of these honorees. We will also possibly share tales about geocaching and our future goals.
For those not able to attend you may want to write a note on this page.
