About Kingston Station

12 Miles and 9 Chains south west of central London, Kingston Town station (as it was originally named) was opened in 1863, where it served as the terminus station on the Twickenham line. It was named Kingston Town because what is now called Surbiton was originally called ‘Kingston’. Currently there are an average six trains to London Waterloo, two of which will go west to Hampton Wick and Twickenham first, and four of which will go via Wimbledon. On Sundays, there are hourly services to Waterloo via Wimbledon & via Richmond and along the branch to Shepperton. An additional hourly service to Waterloo via the Hounslow Loop Line (calling at all intermediate stations) starts/terminates here, on Sundays.

The station currently serves around 4.6 million passengers annually. Kingston is one of the planned stations to be included in Crossrail 2, an extension of the existing Crossrail network that will connect Shepperton with central London, New Southgate and Broxbourne.

To find the cache:

At the posted coordinates, you should be standing underneath a large road sign. Beneath your feet you should see a small plastic lid, on which there are the initials RS followed by three digits. Make these digits ABC.

Move a few paces west to the rolling billboard. On the north side of this you should see a white sticker with a two digit number. Make that DE.

Now move around to the east side of the station, to the second waypoint. Here you should see a street index. You need to find Chestnut Road (CF), Blagdon Walk (AG) and Willoughby Road (DH).

You will now be able to find the magnetic micro at;

N51 2E.CH(F+G) W000 1D.(F-G-A)(A+B)B

The cache is located in a busy area, so please be stealthy and replace the container out of sight. Enjoy!

NB: If you struggle to find the information at any of the points please message me and let me know. Often with caches like this information can be obscured by building works and the like. Thanks
