[Church details go here when I've found some]
The small park opposite Gentleman's Row is a popular location for taking wedding photographs - even in the rain. It is also a preferred area for swans. To the south the river opens out into a lake with an island in the middle making it a small bird reserve. Although mostly populated by geese it is also favoured by a variety of other birds such as coots, moorhens and herons. You may be lucky enough to see cormorants fishing or, more likely, drying off. There are even ring necked parakeets somewhere nearby. There's a path that loops around the lake though the western limb, the more scenic, does tend to get muddy.
The scenery isn't leaning but I was and rather snatched this picture in a gap in the traffic.

* If the M25 is closed between junctions 24 and 26 it is worth taking a wide detour and keeping away from the A110 through Enfield Town or your, and maybe my, patience and clutch control will be severely tested.
