Sasquatch, Yeti, Wookie, Bigfoot and the Skunkape are all giant primates that need further study. Many sightings have been reported on the YELLOW trail. Read the following local news article before proceeding:
CAUTION: The seldom seen Skunkape has migrated North to the wooded spaces of Alabama. Several local residents report having seen the tall hairy creature in and around the AUM campus. Experts say that most danger can be avoided by being especially stealthy when in this territory since Skunkapes are heavy daytime sleepers and feed mainly after dark. The apes are also somewhat slow so patrons are encouraged to run when in the area. A security official warned, “Whatever you do, don’t be spending much time 'round this here forested area; you are sure to get yourself eat up by some dang fool skunkape monster."
(Ape traps have been set and you can consider yourself the bait. Apes may also stray from their expected territory so watch your back; no place is safe.)
The legend of the Skunkape goes back hundreds of years in the oral history of the indigenous people and the settlers of the Florida Everglades, but is it actually legend? To prove the existance of the ellusive primate it may not be possible to get photographic evidence. Other accepted forms of proof include footprints, hair samples, scat, or recorded voclizations. Be carfull to preserve any evidence you find and make note of your assumptions as to the daily habits of the mythical Skunkape.

...In 1997 the legandary creature was captured in a photograph that has echoed throughout media channels around the world. Several other sightings have been documented and featured on the Discovery channel, History channel, Animal Planet, The Smithsonian Magazine and many more. Maybe you can catch a glimpse of something that will help prove the existance of this four-toed Bigfoot. You'd be famous!!
NOTE FROM C.O.: Be aware that this ape has been known to devour our caches. If you DNF on this one be sure to let us know so we can replace it. For more info view this SKUNK APE Documentary
