River Garden working Bee Cache In Trash Out Event

River Garden is a Community Garden run by the Bass Coast Landcare Group demonstrates environmentally responsible gardening techniques and provides garden space for those who don't have space to grow vegetables and fruit where they live. Due to COVID-19 restrictions last year the garden has become over grown and is in desperate need of some TLC. There is a range of activities and jobs to do to suit all abilities and any help will be gratefully recieved. All equipment is supplied, but if you prefer to use your own tools please bring yoour own. It is recommended that you bring and use your own gardening gloves.The working bee will include a tour of the site and induction. 

COVID-19 restrictions will be adhered to during this event.

COVID SAFE PLAN includes:

• Everyone (Over 12 Years Old) is required to carry a face mask. (unless you have a medical exemption)
• Hand Sanitiser will be provided. (But you are encouraged to bring your own.)
• Registration (via the QR Code) at the event is part of the Covid Safe Plan and it is hoped all attendees will cooperate in order to ensure future events will be possible
• Social distancing, please try and keep a minimum of 1.5M between yourself and another person.
• If more than 20 people attend, they will be split into groups of 10 or less and assigned an area to work in.
• Please include the number of attendees in your "Will Attend" log.
• These requirements may change at short notice!
