Geocache Description:

NOTE: The listed coordinates are NOT the position of the cache. You must solve the puzzle below to determine the actual coordinates of the cache.

Once again, this puzzle was inspired by something I saw in Eric Berlin's weekly Puzzlesnacks.  I wanted to try making something comparable, and this was an interesting challenge to produce.  Enjoy!

If you wish, the puzzle is also available to download and print as a PDF.

As the cache owner, I represent that this file is safe to download, although it has not been checked by Groundspeak or the reviewer for malicious content.  Download at your own risk.  But really, it's just a PDF hosted on Google Drive that any modern browser will display for you just like any other webpage.

Hiking for geocaches often involves traversing twisty trails along the way.  But before you head out for a long hike, it’s a good idea to check the weather forecast.  What warning might the meteorologist offer you?

Each row contains two answers, clued in order.  In addition, there are twelve “trails” wandering through the grid.  Each trail answer begins in its numbered square, and ends in one of the dotted squares — you’ll have to figure out which one.  Lengths of the trail answers are shown in parentheses.  The twelve trails never overlap each other, and will fill up the grid entirely.  The highlighted squares contain your final answer for Certitude.
