Huangsha Wharf has ferries to Jinshazhou to the northwest, Fangcun to the south, and Guangzhou Tower to the east. The wharf can only be accessed by a small street alongside a canal wedged between Shamian Island and a huge seafood market.
There is a regular flow of electric bikes across the bridge. They aren't going to the ferry, but rather to the staff-only entrance to the White Swan Hotel, which wisely seems to have also opened up this access point for electric bike deliveries.
The views of the river and wharf and also prominent in the multi-level car parking building at the perimeter built apparently to accommodate all the parking displaced by the conversion of parking lots to public plazas in 2020; ultimately a very successful trade-off for the now much-enlivened Shamian Island with all that interior parking and related traffic circulation removed.
