Cache Alpha Traditional Cache
Bradinn: We haven't had a chance to get to this cache for maintenance in far far too long. We know that a maintenance visit is long overdue and I hope to get one in within the next couple of days. However last winter we found that the area definitely becomes rather soaked and hazardous during this time of year, so for now we are temporarily archiving this cache until we can have a look at it and determine if it is safe to replant it in the same area, or if it should be stashed away safely until after the winter snows have departed.

This cache is located in Ajax, off of Duffins creek near a popular fishing area for local anglers.
When we placed the cache this area was quite nice, although you should be warned, it does have the potential to become overgrown in the summer times, and the mosquito factor can be quite high in hot muggy weather.
No serious bushwacking is required for this cache. It is located approximately 20 meters off of the main trail which follows the creek shoreline. Beware that this trail can easily become muddy and slippery, and parents should keep a watchful eye on any small children while hiking. Also this area is one of Ajax's trial "leash free areas" if you have a four legged geocacher in your team.
