This cache is a Christmas present from my children. They gave me a Star Trek: Discovery science officer badge (Commander rank, see image below). It was hidden in the center of a 2020 appropriate gift ... a roll of toilet paper! The badge separates to reveal a flash drive. That flash drive had one text file on it with the link below for this puzzle. The puzzle itself was created and written by my oldest son.
I solved the puzzle and found the cache they had hidden with the help of Danni365. I replaced their message with a log sheet. Now it's your turn.
