Our family celebrates the 12 days of Christmas...December 25-January 6. So we are still baking at our house for the holidays. Our mom always asks us which ones we want to make and we always pick our favorites. Have you ever tried to double a recipe you love? It just never turns out the same! One of SirHaronSoarington’s favorite recipes is fudge…but double fudge…NO THANK YOU!!!

Fudge
1 cup sugar
2 1/2 tablespoons evaporated milk
1 1/2 Tablespoon butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
2 cup chocolate chips
3 cup pecans, chopped
3 1/2 cup coconut (optional)
4 ½ tablespoon chopped cherries (optional)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Combine sugar, milk, butter, and salt. Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring constantly 4-5 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in marshmallows, chocolate, nuts and vanilla as well as optional ingredients. Stir for 1 minute or until marshmallows are melted. Pour into 8 inch pan chill for 2 hours or until firm. Cut into small squares.
