Youngmike927 is caching in the area since 2012 and has made it by now to over 4,000 finds. I think I ran into him the first time this year on a trail, not sure if I met him before. I was hunting some FTFs south of Haverstraw...when I spotted another person with a GPS in his hand pacing down the trail while I was standing off trail near a geoache...I met him in the end on the way back.
The cache is located in Campgaw mountain. In the front end of the park there are many marked trails. The backend of the park has many trails, but they are not well marked...so good luck to find the right trail to the cache and don't get lost!
This cache is part of the colorful ammo can series and on the inside is a code. Collect the code in all 14 ammo cans and you will have the information for the final cache of this series: "Final: Colorful Ammo Cans"
