Geocache Description:

The cache is located on the beautiful Adriatic island of Krk near the town of Baška

To find this cache, drive or walk to the FKK Bunculuka auto-camp/beach. This is one of the most beautiful naturist beaches in Europe with a spectacular view of the Adriatic and the nearby island of Prvic. Walk to the eastern end of the beach, cross the concrete/boulder shorefront and open the steel gate to get on the sightseeing trail. The trail leads east to several more wonderfully secluded naturist beaches. Wear good hiking footwear and watch your step as the trail includes some challenging sections.

Follow the white-red-white trail markings (see photo.) These will eventually take you to another steel gate leading to a large secluded naturist beach. Continue to the other end of this beach to find the continuation of the trail (with no trail markings.) The cache is located in a spot off of this trail.

Once you've found the cache, you may want to head further east on the trail to find a tiny secluded beach (accessible only by water) and an unusual "water ring" rock formation! Continuing even further along this trail should eventually lead to the remains of the ancient Illyrian settlement of Bosar (Corinthia) between the Vela luka and Mala luka bays. This is a very long hike, however, and should be planned carefully with water, maps, etc.
