GeoTour GA43 Buitenplaats Doornburgh
Doornburgh is een creatieve buitenplaats voor kunst en wetenschap. Een plek voor reflectie op de toekomst, weg van de waan van de dag.
De historische Buitenplaats Doornburgh aan de Vecht bestaat al sinds de 17e eeuw. Eerst als zomerverblijf voor vermogende stedelingen. Later als klooster van de zusterorde de Kanunnikessen van het Heilige Graf.
Op de buitenplaats bevinden zich verschillende rijksmonumenten. Het 18e eeuwse hoofdhuis is in sterk contrast met de priorij uit 1966 in stijl van de Bossche School. Tot 2017 was de buitenplaats in gebruik als klooster. Vanaf 2018 is de buitenplaats open gesteld voor publiek

Doornburgh is a creative country estate for art and science. A place for reflection on the future, away from the hustle and bustle of the day.
The historic Buitenplaats Doornburgh aan de Vecht has existed since the 17th century. First as a summer residence for wealthy city dwellers. Later as a monastery of the sister order the Canonesses of the Holy Sepulcher.
There are several national monuments on the estate. The 18th century main house is in stark contrast to the 1966 priory in the style of the Bossche School. Until 2017, the country estate was used as a monastery. From 2018, the country estate will be open to the public.

GeoTour GA43 Buitenplaats Doornburgh
Doornburgh ist ein kreatives Landgut für Kunst und Wissenschaft. Ein Ort zum Nachdenken über die Zukunft, abseits der Hektik des Tages.
Das historische Buitenplaats Doornburgh aan de Vecht existiert seit dem 17. Jahrhundert. Zunächst als Sommerresidenz für wohlhabende Stadtbewohner. Später als Kloster der Schwester bestellen die Kanoninnen des Heiligen Grabes.
Es gibt mehrere nationale Denkmäler auf dem Anwesen. Das Haupthaus aus dem 18. Jahrhundert steht in starkem Kontrast zum Priorat von 1966 im Stil der Bossche-Schule. Bis 2017 wurde das Landgut als Kloster genutzt. Ab 2018 wird das Landgut für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich sein.
