FTIC December Event Cache

Welcome to First Thursdays in Columbia (FTIC).

This is a monthly event on the first Thursday of every month in Columbia, Maryland

We will be meeting in a different location from the previous few months, due to lack of lighting. The new area is well lit, and is adjacent to the new Meriweather parking garage, in case the weather gets dicey. 

Thursday December 3rd from 6:00 - 7:30 pm.

If you would like to sit during the event, consider bringing a folding chair or seat.

Although we’ve normally met at the food court in the Columbia Mall, because of our social distancing concerns during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve moved the location to the parking lot just south of Meriweather Post Pavilion. Bring your mask/face covering to wear and protect others.

This is a simple meet and greet for geocachers in and around Columbia, Maryland.

Anyone and everyone is welcome.

There are a good variety of fast food restaurants in the food court in the mall and around the mall for all tastes and desires.

We use this event for meeting fellow cachers, planning trips, recommending caches and giving tips, to name a few...

The start time for this event will be at 6:00. This is a half hour earlier than the usual start time, but hopefully will allow for more daylight.
