Want a chance to meet other Geocachers in the Atlanta Area? Here's your chance! We're gathering on Saturday, June 9th from 3 to 7 p.m. Where? The coordinates are listed above so you can hunt us down, or, decrypt the message below for a full description!
Thanks to Mountain Man's help we've reserved a Picnic Shelter in a local county park. Since the tables are covered I'm making this a "rain or shine" event so don't let the weather keep you home. This is primarily a baseball/tennis park with minimal woodlands but it should suffice for our first outting. There will be two caches for folks to hunt and maybe a micro cache as well. If you'd like to hide a cache for yourself come early or drop by the park a day or two ahead of time.
There are also several caches within a half hour drive of the park for anyone interested in visiting a cache or two in the early afternoon.

JUNE 2 UPDATE: I confirmed the coordinates are good so we should be set. The park allows pets on a leash so bring Rover along for the trip. Cooking is allowed in the park and, since we're meeting around dinner time anyways...feel free to bring a grill or bag dinner. I for one plan on grilling dinner (ANY excuse to cook on charcoal will suffice!). Note, since this is a county park alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the park.
