- Quand le train, dans le sens Saint Chinian Béziers, s'arrêtait à la Halte de Pierrerue il était obligé de reculer pour prendre de l'élan pour pouvoir monter la cote en direction du bois de la Gineste tout cela à cause du vin qu'il convoyait."
- Pendant la deuxième guerre, quand il n'y avait plus de bois pendant le trajet, c'est les voyageurs qui allaient ramasser le bois ! "
